Fresh Food Friday: Quinoa strawberry surprise

½ cup quinoa

1 cup water

1 Tbsp beet sugar

½ cup strawberries

I consider quinoa the ultimate high-protein, whole grain food. Quinoa is nutrition filled and fun to cook with.

For those of you allergic to gluten, quinoa is gluten free.

Quinoa contains:

Iron

B-vitamins

Phosphorus

Potassium

Calcium

Fiber
